Audio-Visual Requirements for Rudy's Presentation

DOWNLOAD REQUIREMENTS (PDF DOCUMENT)

A/V Set-Up:

1. A professional video/sound company or person is needed.

2. The presentation room must be set up for the highest quality sound and video production.
That would include large video screens for the best audience viewing of Rudy's presentation.

3. Rudy gets very active on stage and would prefer a cordless lavaliere mic.

4. Rudy will provide his presentation on a Flash Drive or with a DVD back-up to the sound person. He will also provide cues during his presentation that will indicate which clips from the sound person needs to play and when to play them. All of the clips will be on the same flash drive and will be in sequence that they need to be played during the presentation.

INSTRUCTIONS

1. The person who introduces Rudy will enter the stage and introduce the first segment of Rudy's Presentation before Rudy comes up on stage. Room lighting needs to be up only about 25% during all segments for the most dramatic effect.

2. The sound person will play the first segment of Rudy's clips. The volume needs to be powerful during this clip for the most dramatic effect. This first segment will end when the introduction music stops. After the first segment, the person introducing Rudy will re-enter the stage and say, "Ladies and Gentlemen, RUDY". At this time, Rudy will enter the stage and begin his speech. The sound person needs to stop the clip and cue up for the second segment.

3. In between each segment, the sound person will have approximately 10 seconds
of silent black screen followed by a 3 second beep that will indicate the next segment is ready to begin.

4.Rudy will cue the sound person for the second segment by saying "Next Video" from stage. At this cue, the sound person will play the second segment which includes various scenes and background music. The volume must be adjusted to be played at a level under Rudy's voice. This segment will end when the music stops. At this time, the last segment should be cued up. Again, you will have 10 seconds of silent, black screen followed by a 3 second beep that will indicate you are ready to play the last segment.

5. Rudy will cue the sound person to start the last segment when he says, "Watch this Last Video," from stage. The volume needs to be powerful during this last segment and the lighting needs to be up only about 25% for the most dramatic effect. Rudy will exit the stage during this last segment. Mission accomplished. Thank you for a wonderful job!!! Rudy will go over these instructions one final time with the sound person before his presentation.
